Increasing the calcium intake is essentially important for your growing kids. There are several interesting techniques to meet their daily calcium requirements. This mouthwatering raita will combine vitamins from veggies, calcium from yogurt and tastefully accompanies many rice dishes.

Ingredients:                                    

  • Quarter cup yogurt
  • One tbsp peeled and shredded carrots
  • One tbsp peeled and shredded beet-root
  • Quarter tsp cumin seeds, roasted and crushed
  • Salt, to taste
  • Half tsp sugar

Method:

Put Yogurt in a bowl and whisk well. Then add rest of the ingredient, thoroughly mix and serve.
